Why Beniwal's rise is good news for BJP

Why Beniwal’s rise is good news for BJP

Under the leadership of Jat Leader Hanuman Beniwal, Rajasthan is witnessing the rise of Third Front. This is the best news for BJP in the last few months. The new party will prove to be helpful not only in the coming assembly elections but also in the next Lok Sabha elections next year for the BJP.

Beniwal’s National Democratic Party (RLP) chiefly, such former BJP leaders are coming together, which has no future for themselves under the leadership of Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje. The collective goal of these people is to take themselves to such a place from where they can harm both the Congress and the RJS. The game of his politics is something that can be done to eliminate Raje and return to BJP after becoming a new power center in Rajasthan.

Try to unite votes

In the forthcoming assembly elections, they hope to unite the vote against BJP. In this way they will harm Congress. Beniwal and his supporters feel that they come with a good number in the hung assembly. After that he would become King Makers. Just like that of HD Kumaraswamy in Karnataka. If this happens, then his first choice will be the Rajeless BJP.

So Congress has not made Rahul Gandhi PM candidate

The only important leader in the third front is Beniwal. The reason being the key is to be Jat leader. Jats are believed to be united and vote for a party. There is an old saying in Rajasthan- Jat roti, Jat vote, first Jat. The Jats do not have any leader in the country, which is full of threat in Rajasthan. Beniwal’s aim is to fill the same emptiness and, unquestionably, become a leader of Jats. There are around 12 to 14 percent of the Jats in the state, Beniwal wants to unite them.

Why Beniwal’s rise is good news for BJP

This is such an election, which is being seen as an undercurrent of anti-incumbency, which is against the king. In this case, the natural choice for Jats is Congress. Having Beniwal, the community will have another option, which will damage the Congress. But the challenge for Beniwal will be to keep the Jats away from the Congress. They are trying it. He attacked former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. Gahlot is disliked in Jats. It is believed that he ended the Jat leaders in Congress. However, with the emergence of Sachin Pilot this strategy can fail. Pilots are getting started like a clean slate for Jats. In such a situation, the anger of the Jats for Gehlot has no meaning.

What is the problem

Another problem for the Third Front is the lack of social alliance at large level. Lalu Yadav in Bihar or Akhilesh Yadav in Uttar Pradesh has been supporting some other castes and communities, including Muslims. But there is Jat alone with Beniwal. In such a scenario, 12 to 14 per cent votes can be used to defeat any candidate, but they can not win an election for their candidate.

Apart from this, whenever a strong community comes together in Rajasthan, counter polarization or counter-polarization takes place against them. The problem is not there, if the rest of the new front leaders will have a big support. But Beniwal’s companions, such as Ghanshyam Tiwari, do not have the ability to win their own seat. In such a situation, it will not be easy to carry a prominent leader forward.

Yes, in the long run, the rise of Beniwal will benefit the BJP. It is believed that whatever the outcome, BJP will contest the Lok Sabha elections with the new leader. The new leader will replace Raje. It is likely that the BJP will present either Rajput or Brahmin as a new face. If Beniwal joins the party with a new leadership, then BJP will be able to form a larger social alliance. In such a situation, his vote base will be bigger than the assembly elections.
