So Congress has not made Rahul Gandhi PM candidate

So Congress has not made Rahul Gandhi PM candidate

Only six months left for the 2019 Lok Sabha election. But the Congress has not solved a puzzle so far. This puzzle is about the candidacy of the PM post. Congress’s dilemma appears on different occasions. Congress president, Rahul Gandhi’s candidature for PM’s candidature, never went to the Congress. Once again, the Congress statement has raised the question that who will face the challenge of PM, who are claiming unity, and the possible ideology of equal ideology? If Rahul is not, then who?

In fact, the Congress has pulled out of the candidature of the PM post.Priendary Union Finance Minister P. Chidambaram has said that Congress will not present Rahul Gandhi as a candidate for PM post in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.

P. Chidambaram is a senior Congress leader. He is also present in the team of Rahul’s newly formed Congress Working Committee. His disclosure is a consensus within the Congress. This can not be doubted, nor can it be dismissed as a private statement of Chidambaram. As is often done after the statements of Congress leader Shashi Tharoor. In such a situation, the question arises that what is the turning point behind this U-turn in Congress’s strategy? At first, on the one hand, in the newly formed CWC meeting, it is decided that Rahul will be the PM candidate for the party, now the Congress only changes the footsteps on the candidacy of the PM post. Is this the reason why Congress leader Salman Khurshid is telling? Salman Khurshid is saying that it is difficult for the Congress to win the elections alone. For this reason, there is no obstacle in front of Congress to form a coalition.

Indeed, there was a hesitation in Rahul’s leadership within the UPA about the candidature of PM. RJD leader Tasvya Yadav, while questioning Rahul’s claim, said that the opposition has leaders like Mamta Banerjee, Sharad Pawar, Mayawati, who is PM material. TMC supremo Mamta Banerjee did not respond to Rahul’s claim of PM’s post. At the same time, all the leaders of the BSP tell their president, Bahnaji Mayawati, the PM’s face of the coalition. While the Samajwadi Party has raised the question, how can the Congress claim the PM candidate before becoming a coalition? In fact, the Congressional strength of the Congress has been reduced to the extent that in many states, Congress has slipped from two to four. In those states, Congress can not conceive of being the largest party and national party in the country. In states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Maharashtra, due to satraps, Congress is in the currency of surrender. There is a direct fight of satraps from the BJP while Congress is not even in the race.

So Congress has not made Rahul Gandhi PM candidate

Chidambaram himself believes that in the last two decades, regional parties have strengthened the position of the interference in the vote bank of national parties. The circumstances are that the combined vote share of both the BJP and the Congress is also less than 50 per cent. In such a scenario, Congress coalition with regional parties can perform miracles in the elections and in this case Congress is showing the sacrifice of PM.

The Congress has one point agenda to remove BJP from power in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. Congress wants to oust BJP from power by using any chair at any cost and by the sacrifice of any chair. Winning the election alone is ‘Mission Impossible’ for the Congress. The Congress has the support of crocodiles of regional parties. The Congress does not want it to break into the alliance with the PM candidate’s candidature. Even Chidambaram has tried to stop this chapter by announcing Congress’s stand on Rahul’s claim.

However, this will give BJP an opportunity to attack the Congress directly. BJP can speculate on Chidambaram’s announcement that after the UPA, the Congress itself itself is skeptical of the ability of Rahul to claim before PM Modi.

Actually, there is a fine look at the possible alliance of BJP’s opposition. The BJP knows the meaning of the possible alliance. If the opposition coalition is successful in states like UP and Bihar, then the BJP may have to pay a heavy price. UP’s 80 and Bihar’s 40 seats are crucial for BJP in the year 2019. In such a situation, the BJP does not leave any chance, hence the coalition will not be encroached.

During the bypolls in UP, the SP-BSP coalition and the RJD-JDU coalition in Bihar during the assembly elections had worked to woo BJP. BJP will not like that any kind of coalition will be formed against him, which can break into BJP’s vote bank through social engineering and caste equations. This is the reason why BJP repeatedly attacks the Congress to weaken its efforts.

During the Karnataka election campaign, when Rahul said that he was ready to become a PM, then BJP had taken the possible alliance and said that Congress’s Yuvraj Singh is so eager to become PM that senior leaders of the coalition partners of the alliance Even the chair is ignoring for. The BJP tried to convince the colleagues who were trying to go with the Congress with this statement. Later, UPA ally NCP supremo Sharad Pawar had said that the elections will be decided later that who will be the candidate for PM post from the coalition.

In fact, the candidature of the PM post is an issue which the Congress has dug wells on the other side and the other side has dug. Due to BJP’s aggressive attitude and pressure from the UPA allies and regional parties, the Congress has been forced to change its tone. Only then did Rahul Gandhi agree to make a non-Congressman a PM, then now rejected Rahul’s claim to stop the patch of PM’s post from becoming a dirty one.

It is now to see how much life comes out of this kind of congressional joint general body. Because the BSP and the Congress have got swords against the coalition in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. In such a scenario, if a regional party sprouts the alliance, then the other parties will get an excuse to think again.

But this statement by Chidambaram can be a must for the BJP’s enthusiasm because, somewhere, there is a hint that even before the encounter, the Congress is seen in the currency of arms. Indeed, no such reaction has been raised by the general public or the allies that Congress has attacked against the Modi government, so that the Congress could succeed in putting pressure on the BJP.
